Prices and Discounts
All schools and libraries save 30% off our published list prices. Please refer to our printed catalog for list prices. The "Member Prices" specified on this site reflect this 30% discount. This discount is offered as a special incentive to schools and libraries only. For a limited time, the discounted price is also being offered to registered members of our site who submit orders online. This offer is for end consumers only, namely individuals, schools or libraries. Resellers are not allowed to order via our website. Sales and use taxes will be added where applicable after the order is submitted through the website. All prices and specifications are subject to change without notice.
Free Shipping and Handling
Shipping and handling is FREE on all web orders. For orders processed by phone, fax, mail, or any other method, shipping and handling is free for only schools and libraries. All other customers are charged 10% of the net sale ($5.00 minimum).
Shipping Method and Delivery Times
All shipments are delivered by UPS Ground service. Due to shipper restrictions we cannot deliver to P.O. Boxes, APOs, FPOs or U.S. Territories. UPS will notify you via email, if you have provided a valid email address, when they pick up your package at our warehouse. You can also monitor the status of your orders in My Account. If UPS provides you with a tracking or delivery confirmation number, visit the UPS site or call 1-800-742-5877 to track your shipment. Allow 7 to 9 business days for your shipment to arrive at its destination. These policies do not apply to International Shipments.
Free Processing
When you order from The Child's World®, you won't be nickel-and-dimed for every option that should be standard on a library book. That means you'll receive free catalog card kits, free barcode labels, free MARC records, and even free shelf-ready service — simply indicate your preferences upon checkout. If your processing requirements are not listed on our form, we do offer custom processing services at competitive rates. Please include a detailed description of your needs. Sorry, but processed books are not returnable if processed according to your instructions.
Returns: Guaranteed Satisfaction
If you are not completely satisfied with a product from The Child's World®, you may return it for prompt and courteous credit or a full refund. We ask only that returned products be in salable condition. Before returning any product, please call 800-599-READ or email to request a return authorization number.
