Editorial Review

A noteworthy review of Countries: Faces and Places from Tuscon Unified School District on August 1, 2000

Cover: Italy

This volume of the Faces and Places series covers the basic facts about Italy. There are some good colored photographs and useful maps. It has a nice format providing a topic at the beginning of each page. The vocabulary is simple; there are a glossary, index, and pronunciation guide for common words. The contents page enables easy access for primaries who should enjoy this brief look at another country’s history, geography, and culture. There are 18 countries covered in this series.
