Editorial Review
A noteworthy review of Living Well from School Library Journal on March 1, 2004

Both of these titles discuss the importance of safety in daily life by presenting different situations and explaining how to respond. Bicycle begins with a story about a child wearing a helmet and then goes into rules and regulations for riding. Fire opens with a scenario in which a smoke alarm goes off in a child’s bedroom and continues with information about how fires start, how to prevent them, and how to escape. Full-color photos illustrate the texts and add visual interest. Adequate purchases that support core-curriculum standards.
