Author: Sandra Francis

Sandy Francis has written six books for The Child's World. She was recently asked to read from one of her books, Rutherford B. Hayes, of the 'Our Presidents' series at a local library. Afterward, children were able to ask questions and take turns reading aloud as well. She became a 'local celebrity' when a newspaper photographer published her picture in the paper the next day. Sandy lives in upstate New York with her husband, son, and two dogs, Barklee and Emmy. She enjoys riding her bicycle, gardening, and writing family memoirs and children's stories inspired by the creative spirit of her children and grandchildren.
